Creation 2018 event was held on Saturday, April 7th, 2018, and Sunday, April 8th, 2018. This year’s creation theme is Foodpreneur: “It’s not just a dessert, it’s creation.” As the theme stated, this year’s business plan is related to food, especially dessert. This event was followed by 3-man teams. Teams that registered were then selected until only eight teams were left to join the entrepreneurship expedition, gala dinner, and lastly business plan competition.
On the first day, the eight teams participated in an entrepreneurship expedition and gala dinner. In this year’s entrepreneurship expedition, participants visited Eatalia to gather some information regarding dessert that was provided by Eatalia’s owner, Mr. Ivan Tansil. After visiting Eatalia, participants went to Farm House to gather information regarding entrepreneurship from its owner, Mr. Perry Tristanto. To close the first-day event, participants headed to the Travello Hotel for a gala dinner.
The second day of the event started with participants presenting products that they had made in front of three judges. The judges that helped Creation 2018 are Mrs. Sandra, the lecturer for STP NHI, Mr. Fernando, UNPAR’s lecturer, and Mr. Bambang, the owner of Chiba Restaurant. After the presentation session, the judges evaluated all eight teams to choose the winner according to the aspects that they needed to evaluate.
